Steps
- Open your web browser and go to chat.openai.com.
- Click 'Sign up' to create a free account using your email, or log in if you already have one.
- At the bottom of the screen, you will see a long text box. This is where you type your message to the AI.
- Copy the prompt template below and paste it into the text box.
- Replace the words inside the curly brackets {like this} with your own information. For example, change {recipient} to 'the phone company'.
- Press the arrow button next to the text box (or press Enter) to send your message.
- Read the email ChatGPT writes for you. If you want it changed, type a new message in the same box like 'Make it shorter' or 'Make it sound more friendly' and press Enter.
- Copy the finished email and paste it into your normal email app to send it.
